Monterey's Cherries Jubilee is the second automobile event
about 4 weeks after the world wide known
Concours d'Elegance, which
includes the Pebble Beach Car Show, the
Concourse Italiano and 3 days of car-auctions till late into the night. The
cars showed, traded and sold at these events include the Batman Mobile as well
as cars with names like Acura, Avanti, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Buick,
Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chevy, Chrysler, Citroen, California Cars, Custom Cars,
Dodge, Daewoo, Daihatsu, Duesenberg, Delorean, De Tomaso, Eagle, Ferrari,
Ford,Fiat, Glas, Gogomobil, GMC, Geo, Honda, Hummer, Hyundai, Hudson, Infiniti,
Isuzu, Jaguar, Jeep, Kaiser, Kia, Lamborgini, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Lotus,
Lowriders, Maserati, Maybach, Mazda, Mercedes Benz Plymouth, Pontiac, Porsche,
Peugot, Rolls Royce, Renault, Saab, Saturn, Subaru, Suzuki, Street Rods, Toyota,
Volkswagen, Volvo and many more. The names of the visitors go the whole gamut
from "empty pockets to very, very, very deep pockets."
Both events are worth seeing, and a must see for car
enthusiasts.
